Het NSFF Trio, bestaand uit Daan van den Hurk (piano) Bart Soeters (bas) en Frank van der Star (drums), is een trio dat gespecialiseerd is in het live begeleiden van silent films. O.l.v. internationaal gerenommeerd filmpianist Daan van den Hurk, is dit trio van virtuoze musici in staat elke film van een hoogwaardige begeleiding te voorzien met een mix van geïmproviseerde en door Van den Hurk speciaal gecomponeerde muziek.

Het trio was in eerste instantie opgericht voor het Nederlands Silent Film Festival, maar begeleid ook films buiten dit festival.

The NSFF Trio, excisting of Daan van den Hurk (piano) Bart Soeters (bas) en Frank van der Star (drums), is a musical trio specialized in the live accompaniment of silent films. Lead by international acclaimed silent film pianist Daan van den Hurk, this trio of virtuosi is capabable of giving every possible film an outstanading accompaniment, with a mix of improvised and, by Van den Hurk specially composed music.

Although the trio was firstly founded to perform at the Nederlands Silent Film Festival, it is also available outside of this festival.
